Magnetic tip will pick up hooks. Press the sized hole at the base of the tool over the same size bead and it holds the bead while you place the hook through it. The open slot then allows you to remove the beaded hook from the tool. Bead sizes are printed on the side of the tool in line with the corresponding bead size as well as molded into the flexible base near each hole. Works best with the bead oriented so that the larger (counter drilled) hole is down on a flat surface.
